Hand carved from the Guinean hardwood Lenke timber – the spirit wood of West Africa –  the craftsmanship of this distinctive drum is as functional as it is beautiful.
With crisp tonal qualities and several distinct notes this larger sized Krin is a high volume instrument ideal for any ensemble.

Comes complete with a pair of wooden strikers.

Krin (also called kirin, kolokolo, lokole) is a log drum, often played alongside Balafon, Kora, djembes and dunun in contemporary West African Ballets.
