Chakra Guide
This Crystal Singing Bowl focuses on the Root Chakra (Muladhara), located at the base of the spine. This chakra is associated with grounding, stability, and a sense of security, providing a foundation that supports balance and resilience during life’s challenges.
Each bowl size is commonly associated with a specific chakra range and tonal depth. While individual experiences may vary, size and pitch play an important role in how the sound is perceived during practice.
Understanding the Chakras
6” – Crown Chakra (B note)
8” – Throat Chakra (G note)
10” – Solar Plexus Chakra (E note)
12” – Root Chakra (C note)
22” – Sacral & Heart Chakra (very low tones)
The 12” size produces a deeper, bass-rich tone that resonates strongly in the body, making it well suited for grounding practices, relaxation, and sound journeys. It can be used individually or combined with smaller bowls to create a full tonal range.

FAQs
Is this bowl suitable for beginners?
The 12” size can be used by beginners, though it is heavier than smaller bowls and better suited to those comfortable working with deeper tones.
What instruments complement the deeper tone of this bowl?
The grounding resonance of the 12” bowl works particularly well alongside gongs, bells and chimes, as well as wellness shakers, to create immersive and balanced sound environments.
What’s the difference between crystal singing bowls and metal singing bowls?
Crystal singing bowls produce a clear, sustained tone, while metal singing bowls offer a warmer sound with richer overtones. Both are widely used in meditation and sound work, and are often combined with instruments from our Sound Healing range.
