These traditional bongos feature 6″ and 7″ wooden shells fitted with natural rawhide heads, offering a warm, organic response. Cuban-style steel bottoms provide added durability and projection, while black powder-coated traditional rims give a clean, understated finish.

Bongo and Conga tuning tips
Tuning opposites is the key!
1. Using your tuning key/wrench, tighten one nut a ¾ rotation.
2. Next, tune the nut that is opposite it.
3. Then move along one nut and tune it, followed by the nut opposite again.
In other words, we don’t tune each nut moving around in a circle.
This technique helps pull the head down evenly and will give your drum the best possible sound.
