Tactile, inspiring and rewarding – our drum making workshops are an interactive and immersive experience for children of all ages. They will be fully engaged in a fun, hands on process that highlights the cultural background of these wonderful authentic instruments. We can come to you and we’ll bring all the raw materials with us on the day including the drum shells made of timber, the metal rings, goat skins and rope. Our sessions can be tailored to run across a part/ full day or longer and children will end up with their own hand made drum!

All of our djembes are made from sustainable materials and 5% of every djembe’s worth is donated towards the “East-Java Plant a Tree Program” in Indonesia.
